Rapid Implementation Manager (RIM) enables dynamic, technology-oriented service processes to be packaged, automated and distributed in a proprietary format called a “Solution Kit”. In addition, RIM’s extensive technology integration capabilities enable process-oriented applications to be developed that act as a bridge between and communicate with existing software technologies. The RIM software is composed of two primary components:

  • RIM Solution Kit Builder – A complete, interactive authoring and development environment for creating RIM Solution Kits.
  • RIM Client – An easy to use, interactive Solution Kit execution environment for kits developed with the RIM Solution Kit Builder.

Common applications of the RIM software and Solution Kits include (but are not limited to):

  • Unassisted Software Evaluations: RIM can be used to capture and package complex technical software installation, setup and configuration processes into controlled and unassisted pre-sales evaluation kits that can then be used by any vendor’s prospects and partners to quickly and predictably facilitate the set up, configuration and validation of their product offerings.
  • Automation of Implementation Processes: RIM can be used to capture and package technical installation, implementation and configuration processes and activities into automated implementation Solution Kits.
  • Professional Services Delivery: RIM enable professional services organizations to capture expert professional service delivery processes that can then be re-distributed and utilized by other consultants and knowledge workers within the professional services organization.
